Synopsis: |
The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is soliciting
submissions of qualifications (SOQs) from engineering consulting firms to provide
professional engineering, surveying, and outreach services as needed, to complete a
floodplain re-study of Bozeman Creek and Tributaries, in Gallatin County, Montana. The
project entails completion of detailed floodplain re-studies, in accordance with the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) standards, for Bozeman Creek, four
tributaries, and the Mill Ditch Diversion totaling 18.5 miles. The study limits for each
flooding source are displayed in the project area site map (Attachment A). The work
shall be completed on behalf of Montana’s Risk MAP Program with funding support
provided by DNRC and the FEMA. The City of Bozeman and Gallatin County are
project stakeholders supporting this study.
