Synopsis: |
The STATE OF MONTANA, Department of Administration, State Information Technology Services Division (hereinafter referred to as “the State”) is soliciting bids for redundant, diverse, secure, reliable, and scalable high speed transport services to support converged network technologies (voice, data & video) between the Miles City Data Center (MCDC) at 114 South Haynes Street, and the State’s core locations, 1) at the iConnect facility, 222 N. 32nd Street in Billings, and 2) at the State of Montana Data Center (SMDC), 490 – 18th Street in Helena. The State requires a 1GB network connection between these locations, with additional pricing for transport services up to 10GB, at a minimum, to meet the current and future needs of the State. The proposed Transport Services will be an OSI Layer 2 Ethernet handoff to the State’s core network sites in Billings, Helena and Miles City, and will support jumbo frames, with a minimum size of 9200 bytes.
