In addition this position provides site–specific information to Petroleum Tank Release Compensation Board staff regarding approved remedial investigation, corrective action, and/or closure. This position is expected to collaborate with peers to share expertise, manage complex sites and assist in development of program technical guidance documents. |

The primary role of this position is in implementation of the State’s Nonpoint Source Management Program, through assistance to Conservation Districts, local watershed groups, other agencies and individuals. The position focuses on the technical aspects of the implementation of water quality restoration plans/TMDLs. This includes working closely with the TMDL Planners on developing/understanding the implementation strategies in the plans, and working with local stakeholders to carry out those recommendations. Duties include: research, assessment of pollutant loads and sources, GIS applications, technical writing, written and oral communication with local stakeholders, 319 contract development and administration.
